Epoxy is a very strong and durable polymer with many uses and applications that can withstand heavy use, impact, and traffic. It bonds to concrete extremely well with the right kind of tools and prep work, ensuring that the coating doesn’t peel easily.
Our epoxy systems consist of an epoxy base and a polyaspartic top coat. Polyaspartics act as a protective shield that is UV resistant and fast curing. It helps keep your floors looking sharp without any yellowing, while allowing our team to complete the installation within a day or two. After 24 hours, the coating is rock solid and cured, ready for foot traffic to resume!
Our process
1. Preparation
With the use of industrial grade diamond grinders, vacuums, crack fillers, and meticulous cleaning processes, we make sure that the epoxy bonds perfectly.
2. Epoxy Base
A layer of 100% solids epoxy is applied to the prepped and patched concrete, pigmented to match the choice of vinyl flakes.
3. Flake Broadcast
A full flake broadcast is applied to the uncured epoxy layer. Once cured, excess flake is scraped and vacuumed to reveal a flawless layer ready for the final coat.
4. Top Coat
A polyaspartic top coat is applied for maximum protection, durability, and longevity. Aluminum oxide is broadcasted into the top coat before it cures for extra grit.
